Product Overview for Container Heaters and gas bottle heaters

Drum and container heaters are used to heat up liquids in drums, canisters, buckets, hobbocks and IBC containers. Depending on the application, different amounts of heat are introduced to keep the contents at an optimum processing temperature. Thereby the viscosity can be reduced to allow for easy pumping and crystallisation can be avoided. Gas bottle heaters are used to heat compressed gas cylinders, e.g. to prevent icing at a large withdrawal rate and thereby to avoid negative effects on the required gas flow.

Drum heaters, IBC heaters and gas bottle heaters are flexible heating jackets, that are intalled directly on the container. Thus they allow a very efficient and space-saving heating directly on site. The even laying of the heating cable as well as a cosumized temperature control avoid overheating of the container and its contents. The robust design and high quality materials and components ensure a safe and reliable operation.

Drum Heaters up to 90 °C

Suitable for all types and makes of 200 - 220 L steel drums. For tempering up to 90 °C.

  • Outer sheath made of water-repellent polyester fabric
  • Fastening by strong tension straps with adjustable snap locks and two fastening straps (included). The tight fit prevents the drum heater from slipping during operation
  • Heating with fluoropolymer-insulated heating cable in pockets
  • Nominal power 230 VAC (±10%); IP54; appliance class I and II
    (other voltages on request)

Temperature Controller:

Heating jacket with round plug 6+PE, for connection to our temperature controllers, which are available for wall mounting (L-400 series) or integrated in the connection cable (L-300 series). The precise temperature control can protect your ingredients from overheating. The modular concept allows separate purchase and exchange.

Drum Heaters up to 200 °C

For steel drums of all types and manufacturers from 30 to 220 litres. For heating and tempering up to 200°C.

  • Outer sheath made of PTFE-coated, silicon-free glass fibre fabric
  • Fastening by robust tension straps with adjustable snap locks and fastening hooks (included).
  • Heating with fluoropolymer-insulated heating conductor with protective conductor braiding
  • Power rating 230 VAC (± 10%); IP54 protective standard; protective class I

Temperature Controller:

  • Drum heater with capillary tube thermostat, with on/off switch, 2 control lamps and 3,0 m connection cable with plug. If the measuring system is damaged (pressure drop in the capillary), the thermostat remains switched off and therefore prevents uncontrolled heating.
  • Drum heater with 6+PE round plug, for a very precise and safe temperature control with 2 Pt100 (1x controller, 1x limiter), with our optionally available temperature controllers. Increased power of 2000 W and two heating zones. The modular design enables an easy purchase and replacement.

  • Carrier plate made of glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) with aluminum heating plate for optimum heat transfer.
  • Heating with fluoropolymer-insulated heating conductor, laid directly under the heating plate. Carrying handle for easy and comfortable transport.
  • Operating voltage 230 VAC (±10%); protection class IP54; protection class I.

Temperature control:

Various temperature controllers can be selected because of the 6+PE round plug, available either for wall mounting (L-400 series) or integrated in the connecting cable (L-300 series).
